Hmm, I was going to suggest NASN, but they don't cover Rome.

If you don't mind seeing the games late, I can put them on DVD for you and post them over. of course, it's not the same as watching them live, but may give you your Don Cherry fix.

Games 1 & 2 are done, but let me know if you want games 3-6 (since Edmonton will close it out in 6).

I am not an Edmonton fan, Sabres actually (from Winnipeg, but a lifelong Sabes fan to be different), so the last thing I want is to see those sneaky Hurricanes skate with the Cup!

Thanks for the kind offer, Scootter, but I've resigned myself to tuning in live on Internet radio. But if Edmonton does win in the end, I might take you up on your offer after the fact. (I don't think I could handle a copy of Edmonton losing the cup!)

The lockout is the reason why the playoffs aren't widely available here. Dropped by ESPN, it's now available only on OLN or (as you rightly said) NASN, but there is no Italian satellite service that offers these channels. So, as a fellow Canadian put it to me, I'd literally have to leave the country to see the games.

A 0-5 shutout, after losing Roloson, is hardly motive for optimism, but I like your confidence! Go Oilers!

No worries, although I'm travelling now with work, so I am afraid I can't make good on my offer.

You may want to do a torrent search, I looked on www.mininova.org

And a link to Game 1 is up. all you need is a good connection and a torrent client.

Good luck!

I just moved to Paris - and am desperate to watch Game 6? Is it easy to watch over the internet?

GO OILERS

As far as I understand it, it is impossible to watch the games live on the net. The Bit Torrent idea, suggested by Scootter, would allow you to watch the games afterwards, if someone uploads them.

I have no idea if the NHL is available on French satellite tv, but probably not. Otherwise, just tune in to Rod Phillips for the live radio broadcast on edmontonoilers.com.

Go Oilers!
