No Middle Name In Passport.

Post Sat Sep 19, 2009 5:24 pm

I applied for a Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa on September 4th, 2009.
I still haven't got my Biometrics results back and I'm becoming more and more nervous about being denied entry.

This has been eating away at me for the past several days. My middle name isn't on my passport. When I signed all my documents etc. to hand in, I also didn't use my middle name on any of them.

My birth certificate, license etc. have my middle name. I didn't list it on my passport application because I never use it and had forgotten to even write it. I got my passport, obviously and wasn't given any trouble except when trying to re-enter Canada after a flight to the UK, I just had a lady ask about it at the airport because my plane ticket did have my middle name on it but she let me go through after taking a close look at my photo.

Anyway, I'm just really worried that not having my middle name listed on my passport will cause me to fail biometrics. Do you think this is a strong possibility? :(

Eee... If I were the one checking your application, I wouldn't let you go through because:

1) it's a legal document that you omitted your middle name on; and
2) that's considered fraudulent

BUT. You never know, as Canada pretty much lets anyone through. However, as it's a passport, and valid legal identification... that's a hard one to answer.
