Hi! I'm new here, a Filipino. I need some advise in going to Canada.

I have an application under Provincial Nominee Program in Manitoba. I have been considered under general stream, which means I will be waiting for 6 months or longer in order to receive a letter of approval. Someone told me that it will take 2 years or more to wait for it. Hence, I have considered another option, that is, to look for work in the same place where I can have an employer. If ever I'll be lucky in my search for an employer, I'm worried that it will make a conflict on my application.

Is this possible? or better to wait for it? or is it more better while waiting for my acceptance so that when the time come, I have already a good job to support myself?

Please help.I'll be waiting for a reply. Thanks
