Olympic Hockey!

So, IF Canada makes it to the gold medal hockey game (I don't want to jinx it!), is there anywhere in or near Manchester that my fellow Canadians will be gathering to watch it?
It's on Sunday, February 28th around 8:15pm our time, I think.

I was just about to post a thread about this! We're in Sheffield - my boyfriend and I would be up for it. Manchester's not that far, and we're both free all day Monday so a potentially late night would be nothing... we'll definitely be there if the location is easily accessible by public transport.

Hey there! my husband and i are over in Leeds and were wondering the same thing. We were thinking we'd have to down to London for the game since we've not seen any Olympic coverage at all around here.

Any plan been hatched that will save us the 3 hour train ride?

i called the maple leaf pub yesterday and their showing the mens game (from last night usa vs can) tonight he said he had to record it then show it next day. not sure but hoping he'll show the medal game live. i'd be up for meeting at covent garden for some hockey
