Opening a business in australia

Hello everyone,

My brother runs a very successful company here in Canada. He would like to open a business based on the same model he has here in Canada.

He does not necessarily want to work for the company himself, but would like to go there and hire a some locals to run the show for him.

Does anyone have any general/specific advice for Canadians opening a business in Australia?

Not sure about Canadians opening businesses in Oz, but I know of several brits who have done it and also of several brits who are looking for work having immigrated here. May be able to hook you up. Send me a seperate post, not sure how you do a private post here.
