I don't know if you've got walmart in the UK however at a walmart in Germany I found KD - Damned expensive though! It was like 2 Euro per box.

I was at Selfridges last night and they had this whole shelf full of American/Canadian food. There was so many different things. Even Kraft Dinner. Well it wasn't actually Kraft Dinner but it was Kraft Macaroni and Cheese from the states. It was £3.50 a box but if your desperate....

Yeah, it's in honour of some Las Vegas promotion they have going. You can buy Fluff as well, though why anyone would want to is beyond me. If you miss good old fashioned pancakes, they're also selling Aunt Jemima pancake mix. Of course, I just make mine from scratch, as I always have - it's not difficult. I find the real maple syrup too expensive, so I get a big bottle of Aunt Jemima table syrup from www.canadashop.uk.com. While I'm at it, I get Montreal steak spice, dill pickle chips, Eatmore bars, canned pumpkin (for Thanksgiving's pumpkin pie) - you can even get good old Kraft dinner. It's all a little on the expensive side, but it's worth it to get a package in the mail of all my favourites. I believe I found out about the website on these boards, but I think it bears repeating. They're very helpful there, as well.

www.canadashop.uk.com £1.95 for KD? LOL! Lord have mercy! I don't miss it that much. What are the prices like in Selfridges and Sainsbury's?

I really miss Mr Christie and other Canuck cookies. I'm sorry but the "biscuits" here don't come close. Anyone else miss Cheez Whiz on toast? Kraft does a product called Dairylea which isn't bad, but its still not quite the same taste.

whoa.so I just found out today that the UK doesn't have: KD, Slurpees, and now apparently it doesn't have: Oreos, Canned Pumpkin (incidently how to they make pumpkin pie? - what else! haha.i'm only half joking! Smile

Does it cost tons of money for a care package to be sent from home? Like if my mom sent me one? I know that my friend was going to send her friend in the states one with smarties etc in it, but they had to pay duty on every single item.is it a similar story there?
