Passport expired

Post Thu May 27, 2010 8:49 am

I stupidly let my passport expire without realizing that it could no longer be used as a supporting document when expired.

I've been in the UK for 3 years, But I do not have anything as a supporting document to get a new passport.

My SIN card is a new type with no signature, my DL has expired.
My Care card has a different first name then what is on my birth certificate. As I go by a different name at home then what is on my birth certificate.

None of the UK documents I have uses signatures, Not my NHS health card or my National Insurance Card, nor my UK ancestry visa.

I've just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and I wanna go home as I am not well, what do I do?

Cheers,

Jeff

Your passport is only ineligible if it has expired over a year ago.

You have to admit, that going bya different name is problematic.

As the pp instructions say, contact the High Commission in London to ask them. You were going to have to do that anyway.
