Pathway to permanent residence

Post Wed Dec 29, 2010 7:42 pm

Hello everyone,

I understand I was not as clear as I should have been with my first post.
I re-iterate, my problem (and I'm sure many have a similar problem) is that I am a business graduate (marketing major) and have been working as an account representative for the last 2 years. The problem is, I could not find this occupation on the skills list needed for the points to apply for a skilled migration visa (175 class I think). Anyway, I was thinking I could go there on a working holiday visa and try to impress an employer so much that they would end up sponsoring me to stay.

My question is (and i really need some guidance here), is there a better way? or a different visa altogether for busisness graduates to apply for?

any feedback is welcome,
thanks.

Try applying for a visitor visa or working visa, but I think working visa is much better because some company are searching for workers that can work for long term contract.
