Permission to marry

is there anywhere that canadians can go and get married without having to obtain or pay for permission to marry?

like a good place to go and elope?

ik read online that you have to pay alot of money if you aren'ta citizen of that country to get married there....maybe i was mis informed?

Depends on the country. Most don't require extra payment of any sort, other than a marriage license.

Yeah, i think you must need a marriage license or something like that....
