Perth or Goldie? any advices

hi there, we are a couple planning to go work and study in OZ, and we are not sure about the best place for us...

Can anybody give us the pros and cons in general about each place?

I love Perth personally, quite a sophisticated city, not too hectic, lots of new immigrants there, and probably a bit easier to get housing. Gold Coast tends to have a lot more people moving there who have decided to retire, so you would have a younger crowd in Perth.

The Gold Coast used to be known as the Florida of Australia where everyone retired but it's now turned into a city of all ages. There are 1500 people moving here each week so it's fast becoming a big city.

It pretty much has everything you would find in a capital city but it can get very busy during school holiday times. I love that you can live not too far from the beach and then only 40mins away you can be in the Rainforest.
