Phone recording in US to a Canadian?

I'm hainvg major problems. My x-boyfriend and baby's fahter is Canadian. To make a long story short, he was here (America) and has filed BS harassment charges on me. I called him to ask him what it was about. I recorded the call, in which he stated to me, that he has to make those BS allegations. He does not know the call was recorded, but I do. I was also recorded on the tape recorder. In Ontario, a one party notification is necessary, in PA all parties must be notified...which country has jurdistction? Is it legal? He lied and purgerd paper work, I have the proof...the questions is..can I use it?
