PLAYOFFS!

PLAYOFFS!

Postby Darragh » Wed May 23, 2007 2:44 pm

Ottawa is in the stanley cup playoffs against Anaheim and I can't get any Hockey in New Zealand! Does anyone now how I can watch the games online. CBC is streaming them but only to people in Canada.whih doesn't make a lot of sense since they can all watch it on TV anyway.

Cheers,

Watching Hockey

Postby prplspud » Tue May 29, 2007 11:41 am

New to these boards. I found a link but it won't let me post because I'm a Newbie.

Google "watch hockey playoffs abroad". You should be able to find an article with instructions on how to watch the CBC feeds via a proxy by-pass.

I would be most interested to know if this actually works out for you:)

Go Canada!

Hey thanks for your help. I've actually found a way through slingbox. It's a box my friend plugs into his cable and his computer in Canada and I can watch his TV from any computer anywere.
Cheers!

Sorry

Sorry about Ottawa. Although I'm not a die hard hockey fan I was rooting for them. I think that they were definitely outplayed though. Better luck next year.
