please help, car transfer of ownership

Hi everyone, it's my first time on this board. I purchased a car in America. However I would like to transfer the ownership of this car to my dad in Canada. The deal is: he is gonna take the bus to the U.S. to pick up the car to drive it across the border. A problem is I won't be accompanying him. How would my dad explain to the border officials how he obtained the car? What would I have to do? Please help.
