Please help

Hi i'm a us green card holder i been out of us for more than one yeare so i cant go beck tu us but i want to go to canada to live there so please tellm me some options to what is best for me i can still go to canada with a valid passport and with green card but what to do there ask for a new refugi status or what is best i can do please.
