Please let me stay!

Hi All!
So I am currently on the Youth Mobility Scheme tier 5 two year visa. It expires in April 2011. I have been working with an international company for over a year here (and worked for them in Canada as well) and my boss has asked me if I would like to stay longer. Is there a way? I'm sure they would sponsor me to say, but I am not sure how/where to start. I know people say it's not possible, but I'm sure there is a way!

I have been living with my partner since I've landed (and was with him back home as well) and we have discussed getting married, but I rather not HAVE to get married to say here. We rather do it in our own pace. He is Irish, not sure if that matters.

Anyway, any suggestions, or ideas on where to start? I know I have lots of time, so I rather get this all sorted now.
