Hi:
I am moving to US via land POE (Lewiston Bridge). I know the port is open 24/7, but I am planning to get there on Saturday morning (6:00 AM). Will they provide all necessary paperwork for my and H4 visa and for car import? or it has to be done during weekday's regular business hours? I am trying to call them, but can't get a human to answer.
Thanks

It does normally help to go during normal business hours for obvious reasons, but H-4 is very simple to process, all they need is proof that your spouse is H-1B and proof your married and they stamp your passport and you have to fill in an I-94.
Telling them you're importing the car may be trickier, but all they're going to do if they can't sort it out on the spot is make you sit in secondary inspection.
Steve.

Thank you Steven.
In case someone interested: I crossed the border on Saturday at 6:30 AM. Everything went well. They work 24/7 and officer said they will process car import for personal usage at any time. So my worries were for nothing. Only one thing: looks like they have a lot of new officers. And not all of them know what they need to do. My officer was constantly consulting with other officers to find what to do next. Couple times I was giving him suggestions and he did what I said.
I agree with statements I saw here at the forum: try to plan your trip during business hours on week days. In that case there are more chances you will get more professional help. But if you need to go on weekend - go ahead and it all should be fine.
Good luck!
