I wonder if there is any preference over some ports of entry to apply for a TN status? I live in Toronto and think there are quite a few ports and pre-clearance locations that can process a TN visa in the east cost and am not sure if the choice of location really matters. I appreciate hearing any response.

Sam,

Throughout the years there have been
may stories/rumours of TN visas. I have
heard stories about Rainbow Bridge,
and Lewiston bridge.I was quite worried
my first time, and actually went to
Gananoque/Thousand Island Bridge.
As named it's been Cdn Gananoque and
US Watertown NY. About 2.5 hours east
of Toronto. I have renewed my TN visa
there 3 or 4 times now.

Hope this helps.
