Optional Practical Training. If you enter on an I-20, for most full-time courses of study you can get a one-year work permit (I assume you're studying in the US). You might be able to qualify as a systems analyst, but your job offer would have to say that, for starters. There's also an experience requirement, etc. There are various lawyers, etc. on here with expertise on TN-1.
