Prescription medication info needed!

Aloha!

I recently returned to Hawai`i to work in the healthcare field. Despite working in the field, my health care coverage isn't the best. My presciption co-pay costs more than what I paid for a 3 month presciption back home!

Has anyone gotten family members back home to fill prescriptions and then send them over the border? Or does anyone know if this is kosher to do? It would be ideal since I'd definitely save money, which is something you really need to do in Hawai`i with housing costs that have skyrocketed over the last couple of years.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

it is not legal to send prescription medications thru the mail system. I remember a friend once forgot his asthma meds at home in Canada dn his wife tried to mail them to him and they were confiscated and destroyed.

Not sure if that Canadian website is still operating or not, but if so, it might be worth looking in to. I think the URL was CanadianRX or something like that.
