Property in Vietnam

Post Wed Jun 04, 2008 7:22 am

Hi, I'm looking to buy or lease property in Vietnam, does anyone know relatively how much something near the beaches in the south would cost, or where I can go to find out the procedures for doing so? Thanks

Hello there,

The new Vietnamese law of buying property is now very.new, it's just applied mostly to Overseas Vietnamese. You have to be "involved" in Vietnam for several years, e.g working here, invest here.in order to have some prioroties to buy property. To lease, expats mostly contact the owner of the house and they know how to conduct the rest of the procedures.
