Proving you have enough money -- RESPs?

Post Mon May 02, 2011 1:56 pm

Hello!

I'll be applying for a Tier 4 visa for studying in the UK this September and I'm wondering if I'll be able to use a statement from my RESP to prove I have enough money. Do any of you know if I'll have to move the money to my chequing account instead?

Thanks!

Yes, you'll have to transfer the money as the only acceptable documents thta you can use to show thta you can pay your living costs and your course fees are your: personal bank statements, building society pass book, letter from your bank confirming that the funds are in your account, lettre from a financial institution confirming funds or a loan.

You can fin more information about required evidence at: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/study ... ce/money/#
