My husband being in the process of getting a job offer in Chicago as an Expat for a Canadian company and since we don't know NOTHING about that kind of stuff, we'd like to know what are the important things not to forget to include in the expat-contract... We are a family of 4 (2 adults-2 teenagers). If possible, we'd like the kids to go to a french school (is there any). Since we won't have any US credit, is it better to ask the company to relocate us... How about insurance? It should be a 2 yr contract, but after we are not suppose to come back, we may continue there or go to another city worldwide for another 2year... Should we sell our house? Can we bring our car over there? Will it be possible for me to work? How? Please, all your comments will be greatly appreciated so that we can negociate the best possible contract and also know what cannot be included but should be taken into account! Arcy
