Question regarding validating Grade 12

Post Sat Aug 30, 2008 9:15 am

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I left Canada in 1993. I was born and raised in Regina, Sask. My parents are Chilean and we decided to move back that year. I completed my elementary grade school in Regina. I had no problems validating here. My question I've finished high school in 1996 and now I'm considering moving back to Canada.

Would the Canadian Board of Education recognize my grade twelve that I completed here? Would I have to take exams about Canadian subjects? Or does it depend on what province I'm moving to?

The main language here is spanish and of course the subjects are probably a little different.

I have a university degree as well. But main concern is about my high school getting recongnized first.

Thank you,

Carlos

I think if you have a university degree from a foreign country, your high school diploma shouldn't be an issue at all. Why would it be?

you can also go back to your old school and see if you can obtain proof there? maybe they have a website you can visit?

good luck
