on the basis that you have looked through the application form, done the self assessment & read guidance notes for the YMS,

the best way to answer you is that you simply fill in the application form true & factual & to provide only what they ask for in the application as supporting documents - dont confuse the application with anything not requested

Thanks for the info Was just checking really -i wanted someone to clarify the situation as I am aware that for brits to come to canada on the same kind of visa, they do require a police check.

Police background checks are not required for Youth mobility visa, but you are required to answer the questions regarding previous criminal infractions when you fill in the form.
