Re: K1 Visa

I am canadian and my fiance is American. My K1 interview is on Oct 15th. My question.
My fiance is coming to Canada to pick me up and we are both driving back to the States.
The day we leave is the 90 days starting - now can he get married to me in Canada when he arrives or do I have to go there (USA) to get married?.

You HAVE to get married in the States. If you get married in Canada your K1 will be void and you'll have to start all over again with a K3 or CR1. Which will take another year or so.
