Renewal of my UK Spouse Visa

Good afternoon,

I am a Canadian married to a UK Citizen. I am currently living here on a spouse Visa which is due for renewal in February 2011.
My passport (Canadian) is also due for renewal in February 2012.

I assume I will have to renew the passport at the same time as the Visa... Right?

What I'm wondering about is whether I can do all this (renewing both visa and passport)from within the UK?

Also, what's the cost of that Visa? (The second spouse visa... not sure what it's called).

Do I need to pass the English Citizenship Test before I can apply for that Visa?

You can renew your passport at the Canadian High Commission based in London, ideally before applying for ILR.
