Hello,

I just have found this site and I think it's wonderful to be able to share experiences with other people.

I am a mechanical Engineer. I have a bachelar and master degree in Mech engineering.

I have been working for the same employer in Florida for 2 1/2 on TN status. 1st one have been done in person, 2 others have been done by mail. Now, I have accepted a new Position in another state and need to renew my visa.

When you renew a TN for a new job, do I need to show the I-94 of the job before? Do I just act as it is just a new job without mentionning it unless they ask? What is the best course of action.

This is making me pretty nervous. I will be hired by a engineering agency on a temp to hire position, so at least I'll have the temporairy intent.

Also, my fiancé (I know, big no no saying we're engaged. We're friend that met on internet, which is true) will accompagny me since we will do the renewal during a planned road trip. Is it an issue if an American travels with me as we renew my TN?

Thank you!
