Renewing TN Status on Day of Expiration

Hi,

I renewed my TN Status last year on June 11th, so it has an expiration date of June 10th. I was planning on going to the border on the 10th and renewing it then. Will this be a problem since the status also expires that day? Does having an expiration date of the 10th mean that it expires midnight that night or is it midnight the night before??

It doesn't really matter because there is no such thing as "renewal" per se, you're applying for a grant of TN-1 again. The only requirement is that you leave the country by the time your status expires, or a "reasonable" amount of time thereafter, which USCIS usually interprets as ten days.
