Renewing your passport inside Japan

Hey, can anyone tell me the steps to renewing my passport from inside Japan. It expires in a couple of months and I just realized that I needed to do that. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

Well believe it or not, theres no such thing as 'renewing' a Canadian pasport..The government doesnt have a system for that! You actually have to get a whole new passport, basically re-apply.

Contact the embassy in Japan..I'm sure they could do it for you. Pretty much you'll have to do everything you did to get your current passport.
