Resident Alien Card

Since I have a Resident Alien Card am Cdn, live in the US but work in Canada. How does this effect my taxes, I have always payed Canadian taxes but not US, am I bond to pay both?

Of course, for 2 reasons; First you live in US, thus you need to file a tax return in US reporting world income. Second, even if you did not live in US, you have a GC, and are thus are reqwuired to report world income to IRS.

You are no longer resident in canada, so you should be filing a departure return for canada.
