Return Flights for Youth Mobility Scheme Visa Holders

Hello everyone!

I just got my Visa and it's time to book a flight! I was wondering if it will be necessary to book a return flight as well as a regular fight.

I don't know how long I will be gone for, I'm hoping to get to England and figure things out from there... I could be gone anywhere from six months to the full two year term of the visa!

Has anyone gone through the border without a return flight and been hassled... or is there anyone who might know more about this?

Hi there,

I've been in the UK on a Youth Mobility visa for over a year now. I didn't book a return flight and there was no problem. I'm a teacher and new where i was going to work, not sure if that made it any easier for me. In any case I think you should be fine. good luck!
