In all provinces, you must have plates and DL registered where you physically live, which by now is obviously in Canada.
If you get pulled over for some offense, they will likey issue you a ticket and 48-hour notice for invalid license/plates/registration.
Also, in some cities the cops will watch a non-local plat for a coupel of nights, to collect proof that you are living there and not where your plate says (they can easily check where your current plate is addressed).
Lastly, if you are ever in an accident, your false address could invalidate your insurance coverage.
