Seeking nyc immig atty/firm for TN to GC switch

Hi everyone

I am presently on a TN exp 5/2012 (wife on TD) and considering applying for a GC. I am looking for an immig atty/firm based in nyc who has been successful in this area. Please share your experiences.

Most lawyers are unfamiliar with the special nature of TNs as well as special rules which apply to Cdn status in general, so you may be the one needing to educate them.

Besides, the lawyer you will need to babysit will be your firm's lawyer, not one you find on your own, since your firm will be the one sponsoring you for GC.

(ceballo@hotmail.com) Given the complicated nature of the TN, I am hoping to find an immig atty/firm that has been successful in making the switch to a GC. Considering that I am an atty that works for a law firm I would rather have an expert in the field process my application.

Anyone out there have a good experience with an atty/firm making the transition from a TN to GC?
