Sending Hockey Gear to Melbourne...

Like others have said, there IS hockey here but you have to search for it, the standard won't be the same. I have a friend that plays for a team here in Melbourne though, he's Aussie but he had spent some time living and playing in the US, so it can be done.

Also, yah I brought my snowboard gear with me from Canada and just brought it as my 2nd piece of luggage, in a big padded bag. I didn't have to pay any extra, either on my Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Sydney, or on the Qantas flight from Sydney to Melbourne, and it was way over-size.

Hey does anyone know where to get used hockey gear in Melbourne?
