Sending money from Europe back to Canada

Hi,
I'm planning to work in Belgium for the next year and will be paid in Euros into a Belgian bank account. I want to be able to pay off my Canadian bills while I'm away. Any suggestions on how to get money from a Belgian account to my Canadian bank account? I have someone in Canada who can manage the accounts while I'm gone, but because I almost all my banking online, is this even necessary?

Around 4 years ago my co-worker came back from Europe and he had around 300 Euros left he decided to exchange it from TDCanada i was surprised to know that the spread of buy and sell was around 18 cents i was shocked. Anyways i gave him 4 cents extra and bought the 300 Euros.

To think about it now i dunno what i did with the 300 euros...........
