Preferably some type of container move.
any advice would be apreciated and cost

Boats charge by volume. Airlines by weight. So in my case, it was better for me to ship by air (I used Air Canada Cargo.)

When my wife and I moved to Cambridge,UK from Vancouver, we shipped a similar set of things (two bikes, a set of golf clubs, small household objects) by sea with Allied. It worked out very well for us - we were given space in a container, and all the packing was handled for us.

It wasn't that cheap (I believe it ended up costing us a little over 1,300 CAD), but they did a great job moving us over and we were very happy with the results.

Hope this helps!
