Shipping to Canada - Any advice?

Post Mon Sep 10, 2007 6:30 pm

hi, I will be moving back to Vancouver after staying for a few years in Los Angeles.

Can anyone recommend any shipping/cargo company that deal with personal item shipping? I called a few, but they only deal with businesses.

I guess the cheapest way is to send my stuff in boxes as they are not enough to fill up a container? Mostly clothing, and two PC desktop, and one 19-inch tv.

.What is the best way to ship them? LTL? Parcels? USPS does not ship ground anymore, so I wonder if anyone can suggest a good and cheap way to ship them?

thanks, your help is much appreciated, as right now my house is a mess!

Hi, I don't know if you already moved back to Canada, but I am with a freight forwarding company. We do a lot of personal effects shipments from Los Angeles, so I will be happy to help you if you need to. Tell us what you need to be shipped and we will quote you a price on it. Our phone number is 310-216-1100 or you can contact me at Vincent (at) lth. com (replace the (at with @ and no spaces in between). I hope that I can help you out.
