SIM cards

I'm moving to Edinburgh in a couple of weeks. What are some good options for pay-as-you-go SIM cards? I just want reasonable local rates and voicemail (no data plan) as I'll be using Skype for calling Canada. I've read that O2 is a good service provider for the area. Where to purchase the card, how to refill? Any suggestions?
