Snowbird working part time in the US

Postby merp » Wed Dec 31, 2008 6:41 am

I am a recent retiree wishing Snowbird to the US from December 1 to April 30 each year in our RV. I have been offered a part time position, partially in cash and partially to offset campgroud fees. Do I need a working permit or visa in this case? Bill

If you will be working, you will need some sort of work authorization yes. I don't know what sort of visa that parttime work in a camp ground would be considered for.

You can't work as a B-2 visitor, and I can't think of any category you could get to do this.
