By getting work authorization based on your pending application for adjustment of status. Or by qualifying for a work visa in their own right, but that it probably unlikely to happen for part time work.

Generally speaking no, depends on what entry category you're in. I can't think of any that allow children to work, some of them such as L and E allow a spouse to work but they have to specifically apply for work authorization using I-765.

But on the more common ones such as H or TD the spouse can't work.
