"Software Engineer" or "Systems Analyst" ??

Post Thu Jul 14, 2011 6:14 pm

I am a Veteran Software Engineer and it may be time for me to move to a Systems Analyst position or a Project lead/IT manager. but I am on TN in US and hoping to get an employer to sponsor me for GC. which job title do you guys think has more chance of convincing employers to sponsor my GC?? should I stay in SE field or I'll still have a good chance of GC if I accept an offer as SA/BSA?

What do you gals/guys think?

Thanks for the feedback.

You need to prove that you are able to perform the job that you applied to. A well-written TN letter will make those details unimportant. As long as you can convince them that you are qualified given your experience, you will get accepted.

We had many clients who got a TN visa despite small mismatches between their current job title and their previous jobs because they had the right documentation properly written.

If you'd like us to help you with the application process, contact us and send us a copy of your resume along with the description of your job offer. We'll show you what you can do to greatly improve your chances at the border.
