Spain, What should we bring that's expensive?

Post Sun Nov 02, 2008 4:01 pm

Hi: Hubby & are looking forward to spending a couple of months in a rented, furnished apt. in Spain this winter. We will be staying in Estepona near Malaga. As with any country we have visited, I am sure there are many things that seem exorbitantly overpriced compared to the cost in Canada. Any suggestions on what we should be sure to pack from a cost perspective. I was thinking of such things as some food or drug store basics, e.g. tea bags or Advil. We have found that its sometimes the little things that you can shove in your suitcase that make the $$$ go a little further!

Hey,

I would suggest.contact solution and tapons. I haven´t noticed a big price difference in anything else.

¡bien viaje!

Hi there

My suggestion is bring any medicine from home that you may need while gone (advil, cough medicine, etc.) Other products are available here but they are not the same name so it may be difficult to find exactly what you are looking for. My other suggestion is to bring any electronics and materials you need for them (memory cards, proper plugs, ipods, camera stuff, etc.) Anything "technical" like that costs alot here. Since you are only going to be here a few months I think you can bring the majority of everyday items like that with you. No need to bring food as most things from home are available here. You just need to shop at all the stores to pick up products one by one as you get excited and find them! Good Luck!
