I'm Cdn and my wife is Australian and we've spent the last few years going through the process of sponsoring each other. I just qualified for AUS citizenship and got my letter that it'll take up to 6 months to schedule the pledge of commitment ceremony.

The ceremony is held at your local council office. Well, I decided to give immigration a call and turns out they had a spot the following week in another council that I could attend.

Just a heads up for those of you who are waiting for the final ceremony but want to get it done sooner.
