Stop me if you've heard this one... (K1/K3/H-2B/E3 options)

Post Mon Apr 06, 2009 8:18 pm

I assure I did look around this forum, as well as the visajourney.com website before posting here. I prefer this site as it is specific to Canadians. I did find some bit and pieces of great information here and there, however as each situation is different I still have confusion surrounding what to do and what I could get away with so to speak.

*edit*
I deleted the remainder of this post...

I have reposted it over at the visajourney website in the Canada section if anyone would be able to help me out there. Sorry to bother you.

There is a specific Canada forum at Visa Journey you know. This site here was not intended as an immigration forum, it was intended as a traveller's forum, which is why I always point people in the direction of Visa Journey. It is specifically a marriage based immigration forum, with all the information already there for you.

I did check the Canada forum at visajourney actually... and still didn't really get the clarification I was looking for. Also, there's a lot of nonsense to filter through over there about 'snow', and 'tim hortons' before getting to relevant topics.
I understand your frustration at answering what seems to be the same question over and over, but surely you can understand the confusion of someone not really making sense of the system, and wanting to make sure they're doing things 'the right way'. There's conflicting information everywhere. It's always easier to talk to people about a specific situation. If you don't want people to ask questions about immigration at this forum, you may want to consider blocking new topics or posts in those threads. Don't know if that's possible.

Thanks anyways. Feel free to delete this, because I'm just going to post it over at visa journey. I thought I'd get the answers I was looking for here, but I guess not.

Well I can tell you just from the title of the thread that getting H-2B in this economy is going to be virtually impossible as it requires the employer to test the local labour market before they sponsor anyone for it. (Assuming this is the category you're on about).

E-3 is for Australian citizens only.
Steve.
