My husband and I are coming to the UK, me as a student and him as a teacher. What I am wondering is what type of visa should he be getting. WHM is out since we are married and the rule is that both spouses must be on that visa. I will be getting a student visa for one year, so that automatically entitles him to work authorization. But he could also apply for work authorization on his own, as long as he is offered a teaching position soon. When I looked online at the prices the work authorization visa was around $400, but the spousal visa price was $1200. I am not sure if I read that right though. Anyone who can help me out I would appreciate it.
