Student (tier 4) visa

Post Wed Aug 24, 2011 3:58 pm

So I'm frantically trying to get a visa application done for school in September (late I know)...I was wondering if I'm required to show financial documents proving my tuition/maintenance funds. Some places say yes, some places say no since Canada is low-risk. I was also wondering what the wait times are like booking an appointment at worldbridge and after that to get everything finalized? Thanks for any advice you can give!

As a low risk applicant, you don't need to provide all the supporting documents normally required for Tier 4 general applications. However, UKBA can request all the supporting documents from you and if you fail to submit them in the required time, your application is likely to be refused. So you should gather all your documents just in case they ask you to submit them.
