Study Visa to Canada

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with obtaining a student visa to Canada.

Are there ESL schools in Canada that one can apply to in order to get a student visa. I'm trying to help my fiance (she has Moroccan citizenship) to get into Canada as quickly as possible, and I was thinking a student visa is the quickest way to go.

Can anyone provide some advise or share their experience?

Probably - my wife came here as a student first. What she had to do was get a letter of acceptance from a school, and then also had to prove that she would be able to support herself in Canada. I can't remember if she did that with a bank statement or what exactly. But either way, it all went pretty quick.
