Hey Everyone,

I'm planning on backpacking Europe for a couple months next spring. I was wondering if anyone could reccommend any brands of good, comfortable shoes to wear. It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm fond of Salomon trail runners. Good for everything from pavement to light hiking, and very comfortable.

If you want comfy sandles then ECCO is the best brand that I have found so far. They are a bit pricey but my feet have NEVER felt better.

I have a pair from columbia. I wear them constantly - especially with all the travelling I do & when these ones wear out I'll go buy another pair. Wouldn't buy anything else.

After spending a week inthe High Tatras, I can say that the best thing I bought from home was a pair of Columbia boots and sandles, plus a MEC jacket.
