Hi:
I am currently a Canadian Student studying at an American University and therefore reside in the USA. I have been offered an internship in Paris for the summer months at a communications agency. My employer requires a work contract in order to employ me on an internship basis...i.e so that I can be personally insured rather than her company having to insure me. I have looked at the Canada-France youth exchange visas. The ones that could apply are the 2A Young Professional Development and the 2E Working Holiday Visa. The 2A mentions the work contract, while the 2E doesnt. Because I am not at a Canadian university, but hold a canadian passport and am a canadian citizen, would including the american university in the contract confuse the issue as the visa is Canadian. Can anyone provide any guidance as to how to proceed. Has anyone been in my situation.
Thank you
Erin
