summer job in france

Postby agassiz » Mon Feb 16, 2009 8:51 am

Hi

Ive been living in Morzine in the french alps for three months now.I am from Vancouver and working in france for the moment. I am having trouble looking for a job for the summer, my french isnt fluent but i can understand some. I am training to be a chef and a cooking job would be ideal. If anyone has any suggestions for summer work anywhere in france it would really help me out. I am ready to move for a job whenever one comes up.

thank you for your time

cheers.

It is hard to get short period job as a chef in renown eatery outlets. The best way is to direct your search towards relatively small restaurants. Better, you contact the sources of your area directly instead searching the job over internet.

Hey Agassiz,
Did you find that job yet? How long are you looking to work for? Do you have a work visa? Send me an email with your phone and I'll pass an idea by you. I know of a place that's looking for seasonal staff for 6 months, and the kitchen is bilingual. They have a 14 or 15 rating in the Gault Milau... so it's not too shabby.
